1 Elevate Printing has a plethora of machines and materials to successfully execute any digital printing requests or orders. Regardless of what you read in magazines and on the internet, there is no “perfect” wide format printer today — as was the case five years ago. Each printer we use has distinct advantages that we leverage to produce the highest quality colors and images for your project. We typically decide which printer is most beneficial on an image-by-image basis, comparing the image's color gamut against the printer.

Every printer used by Elevate Printing uses genuine pigment inks to maximize ink performance. If you prefer your project be printed on a certain printer or ink set, either out of preference or to match your existing output, please specify this when ordering: please provide your current paper type, printer settings, DPI and color management option (Printer or Application Managed). If you are using an ICC profile, please note this as well.Please contact us if you need any help determining the settings.

Epson Stylus Pro 9880

A key machine in Elevate Printing's Giclee or Fine Art production is the Epson Stylus Pro 9880, a pigment inkjet printer. The Epson 9880 design now includes Vivid Magenta Ink and Light Vivd Magenta Ink to expand the color gamut output when compared to the Epson Stylus 9800 model. The Epson 9880 printer utilizes the following inks:

Yellow, Vivid Magenta, Cyan, Black, Light Vivid Magenta, Light Cyan, Light Black, and Light Light Black inks.

The Epson 9880's innovative Teflon coated print head allows for cleaner printing, more accurate ink drop placement, and reduced operating costs.  Combined with advanced driver support from both Mac OS X and Windows, the Epson 9880's technological advances allow for some of the more advanced printing output in the world.

Canon Imageprograf 6100

The Canon IPF 6100 is a 12 ink pigment based printer.

HP DesignJet Z3100

The HP DesignJet Z3100 12 ink pigment printer provides excellent color ranges due to its dedicated Red, Blue, and Green inks. This printer also incorporates a GretagMacBeth spectrophotometer into the printer head, allowing for unprecedented calibration and end results without the need for any external hardware. This spectrophotometer both allows this printer to be returned to its factory default calibration and to generate highly accurate ICC profiles for almost any third party media that will fit inside of this machine.

The DesignJet Z3100 utilizes a Vivera pigment inkset for outstanding color performance. The HP Z3100 covers over 80% of the Pantone ® colors and is fully compliant with ISO, SWOP, Gracol, Toyo, Fogra, 3DAP, and EUROSCALE prepress standards. The following ink colors are used:

Yellow, Magenta, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Photo Black, Matte Black, Gray, Light Gray, Red, Blue, Green, and Gloss Optimizer Inks.

The Z3100 printer boasts prints with a lightfastness of over 200 years while maintaining support for a diverse variety of printing media.

HP DesignJet Z6100

The HP DesignJet Z6100 can produce breath taking prints up to 60" wide.

Roland Pro III XJ-540

The Roland Pro III XJ-540 is an Eco-Solvent printer with 8 inks.
